I'm really pleased and proud of Zac for volunteering to do this. My personal goal as a (hopefully) future professor is to get students reading as opposed to playing video games, etc.

It's disheartening grading honor students' papers only to discover a noticable lack of creative thinking along with blatant plagarism. What is the future of American literature when Sparknotes and plagarism comprise every paper? How can we expect artists to develop something different when they are too busy rehearsing what has already been done before?

It seems such a small thing but en masse it's very large with terrible implications...teaching children to love reading for its own sake is as important as teaching theater majors to love the art of acting for its own sake.
