RE: Me and Orson Welles
There was an earlier question regarding the real person on whom Zac's character, Richard Samuels, is based. Here's a bit of info I picked up:
Me and Orson Wells is based on the early life of actor Arthur Anderson of New York, who performed with Welles in a 1937 production of Ceasar. Anderson and Norman Lloyd are the only members of the original theater company still living. Did the young Anderson continue with his theater career after his encounter with Welles and subsequent drubbing by his mentor? Yes. He became the voice of the Lucky Charms Leprechaun. Magically delicious. |
