i think zac grabs every opportunity when directors offers him lol some actors turn it down but i think zac grabs every opportunity...i mean, he took the role for NYE even though he knows it's just a small role

I don't think so. I think Zac turns down parts all the time. He turned down several teen comedies and high school romance roles to do 17 Again, and he turned down Footloose before he did CStC. A long time ago his manager explained "the power of no," that if you turn down enough junk, people will begin to think you might be worthy of better parts.

I think Zac has a reason for every role he chooses. NYE is not a "small" role, it's as big as any of the other parts in that movie, and it's a comedy and will be a hit - just what he needs after CStC and before TLO. Liberal Arts is a small role, which he did because of his friendship with the director and, I suspect, because playing a "mystical hippie" appealed to him as an actor. Heartland and The Paperboy were chances to work with respected directors and play characters that aren't all happy goody.
