Yes I have seen this movie, I even brought a copy of it on ebay.

Dreadful. This was some kind of student project, although some pro actors were involved (but theater types, not movie actors). The acting is mostly bad, the direction is bad, the editing is irregular, the sound recording is highly variable in quality.

Zac is OK. Unlike the theater actors, he acts in a naturalistic manner, which shows his potential for movie acting.

The director's most ludicrous blunder is to use a freeze frame on Zac's first screen kiss. No other freeze frames are used in the rest of the movie. All this one accomplishes is to remind any viewers who are engrossed in the story that they are watching a movie.

I should add, Zac is not one of the lead characters. He's in three or four significant scenes. Someone could post those on YouTube and then everyone could see all they need to see from Melinda's World.

Where can you watch the movie? Is the dvd even sold anywhere? I only ask because I've never seen it, but want to.

Sadly they want a hell of a lot for this DVD over here and it is only available on region 1! so I'll probably never get to see it!
