You either hide it or you don't. I don't like to be played with. She should stand there and admit to be dating. I know that will cause more questions to be asked, but nobody says she has to answer them. I can't see from Auston's POV that he's either going to think
1. 'I'm going to tweet I'm in Alaska so fans know I'm seeing Vanessa'

or

2. 'I'm NOT going to tweet I'm in Alaska in case fans think I'm seeing Vanessa'

From their point of view, two people dating assumingly, they are just living their lives as normal. There's no reason for him not to tweet as normal just to save people knowing he's in the same city as Vanessa. If he put in his tweets that he was visiting her and added her name, that theory would make a lot more sense.

In the same thought, so what if he was letting people know he's there for her? Vanessa's friends tag him all the time so she's not afraid for people to know when he's with her.

As for Vanessa saying she is single, she lied about dating Zac (as did he) for two years so this is no different!
