So glad the memorial in NYC went off without a hitch. Same thing for the ones in Shanksville and Washington, D.C.

I can't believe its been 10 years already it went past soo quick Sad

there were a few australians in those twin towers 2 of them died in the world trade centers Sad

along with the firefighters and the americans who died in the tragic
one australian made it out the south tower he was on the 92nd floor he is on sunrise now

I remember getting up that morning my mum and dad were already awake and had it on sky news my mum was vid taping it off TV the live footage cuz they heard on the radio when they were in bed.
my bro got up a hour after me and we were watching it on live TV and when i saw the towers falling my jaw dropped.
even though i had to go to school that day

but this day is when i was deadly afraid of hoping on a plane cuz i didn't want to be hijacked and i didn't want to die Sad

I was talking to myself about this and I realized something: it was a bright sunny day for most of the country that day. How almost creepy. It's almost like God knew.

I know. It's weird how I remember very little except that I was in the 5th grade and never really fully understood the severity. No child should have to understand or be involved in war. I was scared that someone was going to come and drop a bomb on my house so I slept funny at night for a while. Luckily my sister was in kindergarten so she remembers nothing.

Even stranger to me is that my boyfriend was a sophomore in HS and can pretty much tell you everything because he was a lot older.

eeeeks lol when I think about it that way it's strange. He was like 15-16 and I was like 10 haha!

When President Obama spoke at the Pentagon, hearing all those planes fly over worried me a little. It still is fresh in my mind.

And watching 102 Minutes that Changed America on History tonight really brought back so many emotions. I was sobbing when they showed the towers collapsing. Just sobbing my heart out.

By the way, that backlash over the Today incident involving Kris Jenner really surprised me. I was watching the CNN coverage, so I had no clue what happened until I heard about it on TV.
I have to say I'm really not all surprised. This shows that NBC has failed since Will & Grace went off the air.
