In that interview, Zac wore a beanie while playing golf on a hot day, even though it made sweat run down his face. It was specifically stated that he wore it because of the paparazzi who followed them on the golf course.

But he also wears them when it's not hot and there aren't any paparazzi around, so I guess he just likes them.
