If that truly was the case then he would not be getting the roles he is. Most crews from sets talk as the industry is small. So if any of this was true then dorectors ,producers and casting directors would not cast him.

Many actors are "difficult." I don't think just "being rude" will cost him many parts. More important is whether he delivers what the producers and director want, and even better, if his movies make money. Christian Bale had his famous tantrum, then won an Oscar and pulled hundreds of millions of dollars with his Batman movies. He may be difficult to handle, but I think he will continue to work for a long time.
