In the past few days I've had to witness 2 of my fb friends saying they are engaged. One of them I am worried about because I fear she might be a little young (18) but I still wish her the best after all she's been through.

The other I am pretty mad about. It's not either of these girl's faults but I've got my nose out of joint. Here I was the ONE with the boyfriend. The ONE in college with my life figured out or at least the direction for my life. THE ONE who had it all and I loved it. Then the rest of my friends started dating and I thought it was nice but still didn't think a lot of it figuring I'd be engaged or something long before them. Haha yeah right.

At least 50% of my dang FB is a bunch of pregnant girls/mothers. They range in all kinds. Some are married, some are engaged, some are single and some just slept around and found a baby in the mix. Doesn't matter, half of my FB list is pregnant mothers.

and a good 1/3 of my friends are engaged/married girls under 25. I wanted to be before all of these girls because A) I want my wedding and my time when I get pregnant to mean something. It WILL take away from my time if I'm lumped into this group. B) Like I said, it will make others frown upon me and I know it will because I'm going to be stereotyped as some 21 yr old wanting to get married and have no future.

I just wanted to be unique and instead now all of my lame friends are getting married/having kids. So now even if tomorrow Michael asked me to marry him, it would be downcast by having to be "14 of the 5 billion" girls getting married within the next year. At this rate I want to wait til I'm good and old so that I can be unique.

Just real mad right now. Mad at myself for caring and upset because I was supposed to get engaged on this past New Yrs. I now know it was good we didn't but I still was supposed to but Michael wasn't ready and didn't have the money to do it. He's 26 and I'm 21 WE SHOULD HAVE BEEN FIRST!

Four of my friends have gotten engaged, one of which is bri, I've been with my boyfriend for three years and I'm not jealous or anything as he's told me he wants to marry me and he will ask me in his own time. Yes I wouldn't mind being engaged as I know he's the one I wanna be with and most of the people I know are mums. I don't think there's much point in being jealous or mad or anything you'll have the future when you're both ready for it.

Just curious, who are you? I see u have only bothered to comment on the things I wrote and that's specious.

Ah I'm shuz I've been here in the forum since 2006 I don't come on here a lot anymore or post a lot. I was just saying that I know how you feel. All people around me are getting married or are pregnant or have kids and yeah it makes me want that but I'll get it when I know me and my boyfriend are ready for it. And I do go to post on other things not just things that you've commented on. I just don't normally press post or I say I'll do it later and don't go back on.

Oh god sorry :] idk if you've seen but we have had some crazy people on this past year and then tend to go crazy on the mods lol. I just immediately jumped I'm sorry didn't mean to. YES I know so many people are getting married....but I think last night's rant was the product of my fears from starting my summer college class and just finding out about my one strange friend getting engaged and idk ....it was a LONG day yesterday.

Yeah I'm not a crazy person! Honest! Lol. I know what you mean, it does suck when it's a super long day and it just gets you thinking about everything

Today is better. 4th in only a few hrs and I'll be hopefully in a better mood. First day of classes was fine just a lot of hwk :/

Haha I had a dude like that once. I even went with a friend to help her record a song on his recording stuff and he just acted weird. He smelt bad and just wasn't my style but he has a gf now so I feel so much better lol. I guess he and my friend did a song and then she helped him record one FOR ME. He wrote like 2-3 songs FOR ME. I was flattered but it was awkward. He came to my house drunk one time and my parents had to kick him out. Guess we were kinda friends but he got way too obsessed with me way too quick and I didn't like it.

Yuck lol. Like honestly you'd think because she's a female she'd get it a little more ya know? idk maybe it doesn't work the same way but it's like with our friends that are of the same sex. If someone is bugging us we just KNOW because we're of the same mind. I'd get it if it was a guy bugging you because men can sometimes not understand us but if it's a girl....wow idk she should just get it lol.

If I find one of his songs I'll post it here. It's too funny.

Honestly, if you really cared about me, you wouldn't attack me for being happy. You'd be happy for me and support me.
