By the way, this distributor puts most of its movies up for Video on Demand (VOD) at the same time as the theatrical release, so you may be able to watch it on pay cable if you have the hook-up.

A little better. If I recall correctly, M&OW was released in only ten selected cities in the U.S.

Not 20 theaters, 20 markets. IFC makes distribution agreements with theater chains, so if, for example, Atlanta is one of the 20 markets, it may play in all the chain's cineplexes in that metro area. (M&OW was distributed in 10 cities but it was screened in about 130 theaters.)

Not all the theaters, just the theaters of the chain with which IFC has a distribution agreement. So, for example, if a chain has three cineplexes in a metro area, Liberal Arts may be screened in one, two, or all three of them.

No, it has to be one of the theater chains that IFC has an agreement with, and it has to be in one of the 20 major markets.
