I haven't read the book, but you know, that could be something they added in for the movie.
Movies don't always follow the book 100%, which sometimes ruins it.

Movies never follow the book 100 percent. It can't be done. To film an average-length novel would require a movie to be something like 20 hours long. So translating novels to the screen requires a special kind of genius. Movie teams that don't have a genius decide to just base the film on the novel's central idea and then write their own story. Others think they can do better than the novel and try to "improve" it. In either case, it's usually a mistake.

I agree I was a bit rushed but I think the ending was the best part of the book. I hope they don't change anything about that part. I hope we get an actual release date soon! I wanna start counting down the days! Lol

yeah Smile i only read one NS book and it was pretty good

so i heard nicholas sparks is coming to my country for book signing around october. maybe if im lucky, i might be able to meet him and ask him about TLO
