It's not off topic! And I agree, you can never truly know someone unless you meet them yourself, I learnt that through the years!

I also think if Zac or Vanessa go out in public, they will pretty much always be seen and even more so when enjoying themselves in places the press have access to. The belief that Vanessa (in this instance) would be dating someone for publicity is slightly insulting to her. I'm sure she doesn't really care if the press see her with her friends/men but that doesn't mean she invites it. Having said that, I have always thought Vanessa was slightly 'exhibitionist' and I don't mean that in a bad way I just mean she likes to be seen.

The way she has now opened up a little through her site and FB etc kind of shows she isn't afraid of people seeing other sides to her.

I think it has been said but some people are not going to like whoever they each date next and will come up with any excuse to justify that in their mind. Let's face it some people didn't like Zac dating Vanessa so it's not going to stop.

I just try and keep an open mind as much as possible and encourage everyone to do the same. After all we don't know these people personally we just idolise them and are surprised when they turn out to be human!

Can someone keep an eye out for any new tweets from Alaska with possible sightings?

I want to add that Vanessa is not the first celebrity to have her own facebook/personal website. There are many celebs....lets not even forget twitter. For some reason, since Vanessa has been so open lately seems to turn some people (non-fans) off. Personally, I'm honored that Vanessa reaches out to her fans in a personal way. I enjoy looking at her personal pics and getting to know her for who she is and not Just "Vanessa" the actress. How can people not appreciate her efforts! She's a lovely,hard working woman. I'm glad to be her fan.

I'm glad too, I love seeing her outfits and hearing her news. I guess for some people it's hard to accept she is a real person and not just an image. I'm 32 so I have a mature viewpoint but I guess some younger fans will still find some things hard to see.

I actually miss the messages we used to get from Zac here and the feeling he was in touch with us. Vanessa having that makes her more current.

Yes, I'm an older fan as well so when I read silly comments sometimes, I have to realize that everyone's mentality won't be on the same level. I didn't know that Zac sent personal messages on this website. I'm sure if he was more open, his fans would appreciate it as well. I just love personal Vanessa and I hope she stays this way...no matter how popular she gets in the coming years.

It's very hard to get onto someone else's level too!

He sent some thank you messages for the birthday books we made for him. I think there were 2 or 3 in total. But that's the only thing he did and on some level, I think he should do more.

But you can't make him and it is what it is! I hope they both stay grateful for their fans in the way they each do now.

You know, I still think it was a bad move of him to post that tweet.
You either hide it or you don't. I don't like to be played with. She should stand there and admit to be dating. I know that will cause more questions to be asked, but nobody says she has to answer them. But if you say you are single, but your new bf writes on his twitter that he landed in the city you are filming, it's just stupid. And like I said, he isn't a daily twitterer.They are laughing at us. Fans, who believed her, that they are just friends (stupid them, bc we got enough tweets about them being coupley), are being fooled. It was the same with Josh. If Austin wouldn't have tweeted it, we wouldn't have 100%known he is there, bc we got no tweet of him being there yesterday. That's my opinion. If she dates him, her choice, but she should be at least a little bit honest about it.

@mary it depends from our point of view...now, im in between this. the first thing came into my mind when austin tweeted is that he's making it obvious he's in alaska. everyone knows vanessa is in alaska. does he want paparazzis to picture them in alaska or is he just tweeting for fun? im stuck between that and idk why the hell this is happening already
