I'm the one who responded to this topic before. Zac would be wasting his time with college. He doesn't need the certification of a bachelor's degree to get a job, and he is learning more on the set than he could in a classroom at a film school. He needs to pursue his intellectual interests (read books) and he should seriously consider personalized training in acting, singing, and dance to advance his professional skills.

That would work! He doesn't need the degree, but a mind like his could really benefit by focusing on the arts as they are all synergistic and as Pater says, "all art aspires toward the condition of music."

I have a feeling promo for this movie could be a lot like Charlie St. Cloud promo, but hopefully this will do better since (I think) it will attract a bigger audience.

It most definitely will. If you think about it, there are alot of families out there with relatives in the military.

That's one of the reasons why I think it'll do a lot better.

Plus partially the director was of 17 Again and CSC had people dislike those so maybe since there's a new director it'll be better

I heard lots of good things about Scott Hicks.

I don't understand your comment. I think Burr Steers did a great job on 17 Again, no complaints there, and who disliked it? CStC is another story; I don't think Steers ever totally bought into the story or got a firm grip on the project. See my many comments in the CStC thread.

Isn't Scott Hicks a well-known director? At least in Australia?
