From Zacefronitis' reply because I had to ask her what a frat house was again to post it here:

A frat house [fraternity] , is a house where male students stay but they join kind of a 'team' to get the right to stay there, often with pranks, hazing etc. And apparently frat parties involve drinking and sex.
Like a sorority house is for girls.

A college fraternity (in the U.S.) is a social club for male students who usually live together in their own housing facility ("frat house"). Membership is exclusive, and candidates for membership usually need to receive a unanimous vote of the current members. New members undergo a ritualistic initiation and are members for life.

Every fraternity was founded to uphold high ideals. The problems arise from the fact that dozens of young men, aged 17-22, live together without any effective supervision. Wild and disreputable behavior is almost inevitable.

Seth Rogen talking about Zac

"He’s the president of a fraternity who really does despicable things, as the president of a fraternity would do,” Seth revealed. “We [Seth and his writing/producing partner Evan Goldberg] were just pitching him these ideas, and he was going along with it. We kept looking at each other, like ‘He’s actually going along with this stuff,’ and then he would come up with things that would be pushing it further and we thought, ‘Wow, people are really going to be shocked.’ And so it’s exciting to us." — Seth Rogan on Zac’s character in new movie.
