I am officially the Miss Teen of my city! WHICH MEANS! I get to run for Miss Teen of my state!
I'm so excited, yet nervous.
I don't even know what to say to businesses and companies to get a sponsorship.
I've written up a formal request letter, but I don't know how to bring it up in a conversation.
I'm also trying to fund raise by selling food and candy bars and cookies, but that's not working out as much as I wanted.
Any suggestions?
Help possibly?

Wow! Congratulations!
Try getting sponsership from a local buisness or local buisnesses. They might not pay for everything but at least you'll have something and they will get the advertising from it.

Just either go up to people in their businesses and present your letter to them and tell who you are and why you're asking for sponsorships. Or if it's a bigger business or they say to send them something, then do it through email. Personal face to face is better because they can see you for themselves.
