I edited the threads so that all New Years related talk can be in one spot. There isn't a year posted, so we can use this thread to ring in 2013 as well.

How is everyone going to spend their New Years?
If I get lucky enough to fall in love with someone under the mistletoe then I'll definitely spend New Years with them. If not then back to the drawing board haha
Resolutions as a child
1. Find love in 5 days
2. Become a psychiatrist in 10
3. Marry the year after
4. Have kids by 40 or less
Present resolutions
1. Help others cope with love loss in facility
2. Venture off and do exciting things like skydiving
3. Go on at least 10 dates before the first month ends
4. Socialize more and let my hair down more partying with friends
5. Get a raise by the end of the year
6. Do whatever it takes to make many people's dreams and wishes come true before mines
7. Save a life
8. Get swept off my feet by a victorious man
Basically what you do here is in one section you write the resolutions you had as a child or at least some
Another section with your resolutions for the present
The first section can be from last year or at least when you were younger
I fulfilled some of the kids stuff.
Tried going to college and did some
Marrying the right person
Having a good life, but that's a different mindset now.
1. take better care of my health
2. Better mindset
3. Loving better and being happy for what want and do for themselves.
(My resolutions as a child were really random and changed every year, so please don't laugh. I can't remember all of them either)
Resolutions as a child:
1. Makes good grades in school
2. Talk to [insert crush at the time name here]
3. Earn my black belt in Karate
Present resolutions:
1. Get into nursing school
2. Maintain my high college GPA
3. Spend more time with friends I haven't seen in forever
4. Spend less time on the computer (That one seems odd, I know)
Child- Before now resolutions
1. Marry the most beautiful girl in the world
2. Kiss my crush Natalie and tell her how I feel about her
3. Jump off a cliff to see how far I can fall
4. Write my name in the snow with my..(don't need to finish that)
5. Meet Lisa Simpson
Now-
1. Spend time with my daughter and family
2. Find a life that I won't regret in the U.S
3. Maybe move to the states
4. Own a Lab and Golden Retriever
5. To not live alone anymore (a partner)
Spend time with my beautiful daughter of 5 years, my beautiful mother, sister, brother, and father. Basically the whole family and some friends and have a nice dinner then take my daughter back with me to Vancouver
I'm going down to Seattle to watch the fireworks from the Space needle and spend a few days down there with my parents, sister and bf. Michael asked me to be his girlfriend last year at midnight so this year is special. Originally it was going to be a ring, but we've talked and it's better if I don't expect it lol.

New Years Eve has been with my entire (I mean entire) family every year. We have a weird tradition of going to IHOP for dinner then we watched the ball drop in Times Square on TV.
Kid:
Get the newest barbie
Finish school and get my diploma
Meet Zac hahah
Not get sick anytime soon
Get a bf
Now:
Pass my NAC certification tests and get a job at a nursing home
Pass all of my pre requirements for nursing and apply
In the next year get engaged (not married necessarily) to Michael
Start becoming more independent
Stop being so afraid to drive lol
