Well maybe the longer we wait, the better the movie.

Yes, but in these cases it's not a long pre-production process, there's just nothing happening. They get an idea or an actual script, then they are looking for a studio deal or independent financing. Until the money is arranged, nothing happens and the years flow by.
wow u'd think that with all those people working on a movie it wouldn't take that long lol
I've learned you have to wait for good movies.
