yeah, that makes me wonder too. why wasn't this movie famous? zac was good in this movie, so as the plot itself...

It wasn't unpopular, it was unseen. It was aclaimed at film festivals and all reviews were positive. But it never got a distribution deal, so it only played in like 130 theaters in the U.S. and 180 in U.K.
I don't think it was unpopular. It just wasn't shown in every theater, just a few select theaters, so people don't know about it.
