LOL well ok i'll tell ya what my plot
after studying alot of movie based back in the 60s this was my plot
both of them were on the corny collins show and like you saw in HS Lil Inez won miss hairspray and she was the lead dancer on the show like that.
Link and Tracy had graduated and Link was gonna propose to Tracy
and Seaweed and Penny were also going steady but as Pennys mother said in HS that Pennys dad was in prison well he is out and he and pennys mother are trying to get Penny away from Seaweed soo they find this guy to date their daughter but Penny ain't that stupid.
and Lil Inez seemed lonely soo I decided to add a new dancer on the show and she can date
but the twist is brenda is back cuz brenda said she was gonna be away for 9 months and that was a message that she was pregnant and well wants her spot back but she has to verse Tracy in a danceoff and let the audience vote.
Amber was seen hugging that colour guy at the end right well she was using him to make Link jealous and Link ain't that stupid to go back to Amber.
also Motormouth and Corny seem lonely too so i decided to hook those 2 up.
that was my idea plot i was gonna let adam handle the rest
see if you study/watch alot of films you get alot of ideas in your head bout your own stories

they should've used your plot in haispray 2 lol

i got alot of stories i can send into hollywood for god sakes LOL
