Personally, Troy didn't do anything wrong in HSM2. Gabriella was being too dramatic by leaving. She knew he was working towards getting a scholarship, and he didn't hurt her nor anyone.
I don't see why people got mad at Troy for momentarily putting school first. I would have.

i wasn't mad at Troy but yeah Gabriella was abit dramatic
plus it was all Sharpay from the beginning like trying to brainwash Troy LOL.
trust me if i was Gabriella and someone was messing with my man i wouldn't have a cry and run off
i would go and tell her to back off my man or else.
i think both of them were spoiled but ryan learned you can't win anything remember how upset he was when he lost to chad and the wildcats at that baseball match but he got over it

It will never happen. The best we can hope for is a 10th anniversary DVD with commentary. HSM director Kenny Ortega did that for the 10th anniversary of
Newsies, his previous Disney musical, so Disney is up for that kind of thing. Maybe in 2015, there should be a petition campaign asking for a re-release with lots of additional special features.
