Just the way I would have planned it - partnering with Michelle is the best way to sell this movie to a broad audience, some will like Zac, others (older) will like that Michelle is in it (and they make a cute couple).

No, no, the age difference is vital. If this were a different movie, the romantic/erotic potential would be unbearable. Will they or won't they? All the sympathy in the characters and their interactions is derived from the age difference. If this were two young people or two old people, there simply wouldn't be the same sizzle.
