The script hasn't been finished, but this is a "town and gown" story. The conflict is between college fraternity members and the Seth Rogen character, a homeowner near the campus (maybe next door to the fraternity house?). People who live in the community around a university are known as "townies".

i don't see anything wrong with that at all. at least he plays characters we can all relate to or does movies that are of real life situations.

We were talking about building a male audience. Movies about real life situations don't pull the male audiece the way that Transformers or Avengers do.
