I'm bored so here's a hand of help. Ask kathryn or someone who has admin permissions to do exactly this:
AdminCp-->Configuration-->User Registration and Profile Options-->Search for the "Display a hidden CAPTCHA"-->Yes-->[if it ask for "Hidden CAPTCHA field" put there "email3"]-->save settings.
Then, if you want, you can turn it off. Once in a while those bots do find a way back in but just do from time through time and it should be fine.

Yeah...that's basically our only choice.
I think it took me a week to get access when I joined.

Nobody is joining. Those who are usually tend to be spammers so it's not a huge deal.
yeah and i guess there really isn't anything we could do about it anyways lol
