No, I don't believe this is an Indie film.
i see
This is a lower budget movie.
The production companies involved are not well known, and have done nothing in the past which have garnered any public acclaim.

Also this movie so far only has one distributor which is for India, from what I've heard so far this could be another MAOW.
Hopefully, I'll still get to see it. Because MOW was released it this one theater where I live that only shows Indie/Oscar worthy films.

There's one difference, this is a campus comedy and the simple-minded distributors can perceive an audience for that kind of movie, unlike M&OW which was a very hard film to label/pigeonhole.
Here's a snippet from the EHS Wildcats LiveJournal site, which seems to be from someone with some inside knowledge of the script:

"Zac got added to the imdb page for Liberal Arts as the character Nat. If that is correct, that's kind of a cool part from what I can gather. And not something he's really played before. Nat is a sort of mystical hippie type, a wise fool. Think of Zoolander's Hansel mixed with the magical janitor from 17 Again and just a tiny dash of Dazed and Confused's Slater."
I'm seeing this movie! I don't care if Zac is only in it for a minute, he's in the movie and that's all that matters! Big Grin
^^ haha tru that
and i bet zac is going to be so hot here Wink
