Somehow, even though he was announced as the winner of Best Male Performance by a suspended bare-bottomed angel (Sacha Baron Cohen's Brüno) and had to stand next to Popcorn Man on stage, Efron managed to come off as appreciative and humble and someone we wouldn't want to slap. ''Thank you for the award. Thank you for keeping open minds. And I don't know why you guys do it, but you keep sending me up to steal these things.''
