Zac's New Project-Signed on to cast on April 9th

In the rest of the day's casting coups, Zac Efron (http://movies.yahoo.com/movie/contributor/1808543881) finally lands a nonmusical role, Zac Efron (http://movies.yahoo.com/movie/contributor/1808543881) is following through on his vow to avoid more song-and-dance roles, signing on to star in the animated action adaptation of Jonny Quest. According to the Los Angeles Times, Dwayne Johnson (http://movies.yahoo.com/movie/contributor/1808442134) is in talks to join the boy wonder as man-of-action Race Bannon. Any one know when this is supposed to start filming? I'm pretty sure he's still doing Charlie St. Cloud as that is set to start filming in a few months. That would be two movies he'll be working on this year.

I know 17 Again spilled into 2008 and HSM3 was filmed entirely in 2008. What was the other one? It wasn't Me and Orson Welles as he did that in 2007, I believe. Could be wrong though.

Couldn't have, he went right from filming 17 Again into rehearsals for HSM3.

I believe Me and Orson Welles was filmed in 2007 and premiered at the Toronto Film Festival in 2007. You can't go by Filmography on here or IMDb because they go by release date and not in chronological order of when something was filmed.

Okay, gotta work this out visually (I'm a visual kind of person).

High School Musical was filmed in 2005 and released in January of 2006.

Zac got Hairspray in 2006 and filmed for most of that year (note the color and length of his hair for the Emmys). Hairspray didn't wrap until late December 2006 (according to the 2-disc edition's behind the scenes featurette). It was during Hairspray that Adam Shankman first approached him about 17 Again.

He then went to HSM2 rehearsals in late January and February 2007. Filming began in March and ended late May 2007. I believe it was after filming HSM2 that he went on to film Me and Orson Welles. Summer 2007 he was doing his promos and premieres for Hairspray, and was linked to Footloose.

2007 also saw Me and Orson Welles debut at the Toronto Film Festival.

Late 2007 he started filming 17 Again which spilled into 2008. Zac was three weeks late for HSM3 rehearsals because of it.

I think I have it worked out now. Sorry for all that. It's really meant as a visual aid for myself. Apologies.

Well, I'll be. I was wrong. Holy crap was a busy beaver in early 2008. 17 Again wraps in Jan. 2008. He signs on in January 2008 and filming commenced mid-February and lasted up to April 2008. THEN came HSM3 filming. I wouldn't even have the energy to do three projects like that in a row.

actually after he did 17 again he headed off to UK to film me and orson welles soo he filmed MAOW after he did 17 again.


plus he will get alot of movie offers now cuz since he is out of disney he will get alot of movie offers for serious roles.

'07 (like in december) until 2008. then
he filmed MAOW.... and lastly HSM3.
i could be wrong though.
