pre-booking for 17 again

im from the uk before i start so this going to be for the uk information.
i emailed my local odeon to check when booking tickets would be aloud, and i got this response.

We hope to have tickets on sale very soon. As we expect ticket sales for this film to be very popular, tickets are likely to go on sale a few weeks prior to release. However, at the moment we do not have a date for when that will happen.

I just checked our local empire cinema in Poole and according to their information the film is not released until 17th April - I thought it was 10th April over here??? Can anyone enlighten me to what is going on please?
