my first vent thread.

why do people seem so distant?
it really seems like nobody likes me for
who I [really] am. people get bored of me too often.
and I dont even know what to change about myself.
I try to like and stay true to myself and like..
"try not to give in to peer pressure"
(because everybody says if you just be
yourself people will like you more)
but its not working. :/
+ I ALWAYS feel like this.

I dont "connect" with my old zefron friends anymore.
I kinda dont get what their talking about most
(sometimes..) of the time. and I feel like I just bore them when I talk :/
I feel just so out of the loop.

I BARELY get to talk to anyone here on zef I had
grown 'close to' anymore. and me and my real-life BFF
don't 'converse' like we used to anymore. we're drifting away.
she actually told me she felt it too :/

I have to tell you I feel the exact same way sometimes.
Like I tend to bore everyone around me, and that nobody finds me that interesting.
Maybe it's just a phase, it'll fade sooner or later.

i feel the same way as you.
i've tried on being "true to myself" and people around me still never liked me.
on my hs days, some of my classmates never like me for me.
they only saw this outside person they met at the start of the 4-year we've had.
and then, i've got sick of trying to make them like me.
if they don't like me, i don't care.
deep inside, i knew that i tried to show them who i really am.

there are other people who can accept and like for who you really are.
they might not come today but someday.
if you need to talk to someone (just like the ones before me had said),
we're here.
vent it all out if you want to. :)

i'm just like that in school, everyone's so ... distant,
and i feel like i'm too boring for them.
but when i'm home, everything is opposite,
including my personality. so i'm like,
"why can't i be this way in school?" :/

but there will be the "yay" days, don't worry.

like, i barely talk to people anymore. i'm always afraid they'll get bored or something.
and i never have anything to talk about.
and when i'm with a group of people, i'm always the quiet one.

and not to mention i have barely any friends on here because school and marching band and winterdrumline and all of my other activities plus mountains of homework keep me so busy.
i love all of said activities minus the mountains of homework, but you know...no time to be on here.

but yeah...i feel ya.
and one more thing...
you don't have to change yourself or give into peer pressure.
be true to yourself! people should love you for who you are.

i moved last year and i have not very many friends
but last summer i went back to visit and they all
seemed as if they never cared that i left..
some of my very close friends wouldnt
take one dy out of their lives to see me.
i feel like theyve frogetten about me, and
