banner tutorial;

made on photoshop cs3. Translatable to psp and i think gimp. ;)

1. Make a new file. I used 508x308
2.Make your blend. I used 1 picture, flipped it and made it smaller. add coloring
3. Put this texture (http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e280/graphicqueen_12/blacktexture.png) on top of your banner. Take the magic wand tool and delete the white. You should now have something like this (http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e280/graphicqueen_12/base.png)
4.Take this light texture (http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e280/graphicqueen_12/1-2.png) (enlarge it if u have to) and set to Lighten or Screen on 55%-70%
5. Take this texture (http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e280/graphicqueen_12/cloudy.png) and set it to Lighten 55%. Adjust depending on your picture.
6.Take this (http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e280/graphicqueen_12/hg_texture100.jpg) and set it Softlight 30-40%. Again adjust if u have to.
7. Take this texture (http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e280/graphicqueen_12/cs-colors-big.jpg) and set it to Screen 39-50%. Erase anything covering the main object of your picture.
8. Now place this texture (http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e280/graphicqueen_12/writingtexture.png) and set it to Screen 30-50%. I put this texture in 3 places.
9.Finally take this (http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e280/graphicqueen_12/57di5xk7zm.png) and change the color depending on your banner's colors by changing the hue on hue and saturation. Set this to Softlight 58%
10. Add text and your done.:mrgreen:
