Zac Efron says his romance with Vanessa Hudgens has made him a "better person".
Efron - who met Hudgens while filming the first installment of Disney's High School Musical franchise several years ago - claims their relationship makes him feel complete.
He says, "You can't describe the feeling of being in love - when you meet someone who makes you a better person."
Zac and Vanessa were voted the Favourite Couple of 2008 last month.
The pair - Efron, 21, and Hudgens, 20 - topped the list of the best pairings of the year compiled by FoxNews.com.
The site stated, "They rode the little-TV-movie-that-could, High School Musical, to box office gold and worldwide fame in 2008. And they have perfect teeth. But their love cannot last post-High School Musical, as their careers pull them apart, forever.
"So appreciate them now, while their love burns with the heat of a million flashbulbs. Congratulations to our Favourite Couple of 2008!"

I think that they will be fine. They are past the HSM, it will be good for them to have their careers though. They are still so young, anything can happen. They have been apart before, that doesn't mean anything. Love does mysterious things.
