i got out of my lexus, and rushed into the gym. the weather was colder than usual. i got in the locker room, and quickly changed. i stretched before going on the treadmill. suddenly, my phone began to vibrate. i pulled it out of my pocket, it was my sister, emma. i answered, "hey em, what's up?". "hey serena, it's your mom. we're in the hospital. emma's in labor." "i'll be there as fast as i can.", i said as i didn't even bother changing back into my clothes. i ran out of the gym, and ran into someone knocking my phone out of my hand. i quickly retrieved it off the ground before getting in my lexus, and speeding to the hospital. my phone began to vibrate again, i looked at the screen. who was 'vanessa hudgens' and why was she calling me?

I hestiated to anwser, as I pulled out of the
gym. "Hello?" I asked.

i picked my phone up and said,"who are you? im in a hurry!"
"excuse me! who r u?" "vanessa" said.
"im serena and who r u?"

"zac efron my bf."
"wht? omg well he'll have to call u back. sry. bye."

i must have picked up "zac's" phone, the guy i bumped into!

i pulled into the parking lot and ot out and ran into the hospital.
''wheres isabella james?'' i asked the woman behind the desk kinda rudely.

she gave me a dirty look, and finally led me to my destination. as soon as i opened the door, my brother in law passed out. i dragged him to a chair where i sat down next to him as emma was still giving birth. i picked up a magazine off the coffee table next to me. on the cover was zac efron and vanessa hudgens. i didn't who know he was, but i knew four things:
o1] he went to the same gym as me.
o2] i had his phone.
o3] he was dating vanessa hudgens.
o4] i had to see him again.

i smiled at the thought as piercing screams came from my sister's direction.

"oh my. did robert pass out?", she said, her face red with beads of sweat dripping down her face. i nodded to answer her question.
i grabbed a tissue from her bedside, and wiped her forehead.
"how were you so lucky to find the perfect man?", i asked her, "i mean that's three kids. you must be in love."

"o well, actually i bumped into him..."
"o tht reminds me, today at the gym i bumped into some guy and have his phone...his names zac efron or something."

"no no no. he's a part of the high school musical franchise.", she explained to me, "the biggest kid's movie ever."

just then i felt the phone vibrate, i ran outside and answered it.
"hello?"
"hi sorry but i think you took my phone when we bumped into each other earlier."
"yea, sorry about that. i'm at the hospital right now if you want to come by and switch phones."

"actually, could you meet me at the gym right now?", he asked.
"uh sure.", i said.
"thanks, bye.", he said and the line clicked.
i went inside, and said goodbye to my family, apologizing i couldn't take her kids with me on such short notice. then, i got in my lexus, and met him outside the gym. i had trouble finding a parking spot, there were too many photographers around. i was nearly blinded by everything, i didn't feel him pull me inside the gym.

"can i have my phone back?" he asked me. i stood there,
speechless. he was even more gorgeous in person.

he snatched it and handed me my phone, "thanks."
i stood there, staring at him. "what do you want? an autograph?"
"i'm sorry, but that's no way to treat someone. especially someone

"sorry, it's just my girlfriend thinks that some other girl was with me.", he said,
"because you answered the phone."

the flashing from the windows made it hard to concentrate.
"can we go somewhere else to discuss this?", he said.
"what, so the paparazzi can't capture this on film?", i snapped.
he grabbed my hand, and smiled as we both walked into the mens' locker room.
towels went flying onto bodies as everyone noticed me in there. i just ignored
the howling and whistling as zac began to explain things further.

"you just need to stop being klutzy," i warned him.
"i'm sorry my life gets surrounded by people that
i want to escape." he said.
"oh boo hoo, get over it pretty boy." i lied.
he walked out of the room, leaving me in the boys
locker room. i ran out, embarrassed.

everything was gone, the cameras, zac,. had i messed this up?
i felt something send me tumbling forward, the locker room door had
opened behind me. maybe i was the klutz? i went home in a
slump, and heated up some dinner as i sat down and ordered
'high school musical' on demand. i needed to see him again.

he was perfect, i couldn't stand it.

then, vanessa hudgens appeared on the screen. how i envied her.
she was the definition of gorgeous. then the movie came to a scene,
where he was in the locker room. it reminded me of our encounter today.

a feel of sadness filled the pit of my stomach.
i felt like i was going to puke. i paused the movie,
and went onto my computer. i needed to find more
about this boy; this boy that was needing, and i wanted.

it was ridiculous. he was adored by everyone everywhere.
i finally went to bed after adoring him some more online.

the next morning I woke up at 8am, as usual and got ready to go to the gym. dressing in a pair of black short short and light blue tank top. I Grabbed a bottle of water, a gronola bar, my i-pod, and a towel, then headed to the gym.
when I got there I got right to my morning routine, playing my favorite songs on my i-pod as I ran on the treadmill.
After a long while, I felt a tap on my shoulder. I stopped the machine and turned off the my music, grabbing my towel and wiping my sweat damped face. "What?!" I asked still wiping my face.
"you were over the time limit" I heard a male voice say.
"Oh, I wasn't paying attention I..." I stopped when I saw the angelic face I had Dreamed of, the one and Only...Zac's.

"oh.", i said as i felt like i was the jerk now for the way i treated him yesterday.
suddenly, a man in a white coat told us that we could leave, but that the numbness wouldn't wear off for a while. we left, and as zac held the door open for me, he asked, "would you like to come over? until the numbness wears away." my eyes widen as he asked this, and my jaw dropped to the floor as i nodded.

He smiled a cute smile my way, chuckling a bit as he shook his head and lead me to his car. about a 15 minute car ride later we arrived at his house. He parked the car in the drive way and turned off the car. Getting out he came over to my side and opened the door for me.

The inside of his house was very nice, it was fit for a prince. He led me to the kitchen where we sat across from each other at a small table. Suddenly, it became awkward.

"here you go" Zac smiled Sitting beside me, handing me the water, then opening his own, taking a drink. A small stream of water started to run down the side of his mouth, I bit my lip, trying to resist the urge to lick up the water.

The doorbell rang. Zac got up, and looked out the window to see who it was. "Quick! Go out the back door! Vanessa's here.", He said and ran to get the door. I was in hysterics as I tried to find the back door. I finally found it and as I turned around to shut it, I caught a glimpse of Vanessa kissing Zac.

A turning in my stomach grew as I saw him kiss here, oh how I envied her so much. to be able to kiss those sweet perfect lips, what I wouldn't give for that chance.

i was driving along, thinking about today and how pissed i was. i shouldn't get that pissed at him, i mean its not like he had broken up with her or anything. i leaned down to choose a song on my ipod. then, i hit something!

i looked up to see that i'd run into an audi a6. the owner came out, face red with anger. i recognized that face, it hadn't even been two days, and i'd recognize that face from a mile away. it was zac efron.

i ducked my head down and hoped he wouldn't notice me. i heard a knock on the window, then he said,"you know i can still see you right? would you please get out of your car so we can resolve this." i looked up and his face turned from anger to sympathy in a split second.
"come on, i'll help you."
"no it's fine i can do it, the pain is already wearing off."
i got out of the car and inspected the damage, or lack-there-of.

there had been no damage to car, maybe a scratch, barely noticeable, but zac's car was a different story. "i am so sorry.", i said nearing tears. "don't worry about it.", he said, "i'll call a tow truck so we can get rid of this whole mess before the paparazz-", he said as a million photographers came pouring in. zac got in my car, and climbed over my lap into the passenger seat. "DRIVE!", he screamed.

i reached in back and grabbed a blanket that was there and threw it on him. then i revved the engine and almost hit one of the paps. i screamed with exhiliration and then whipped into a parking lot a few blocks away. i looked at zac and calmed down.
"are they gone?" he asked
"yea i got away from them."
"now i see why you hit me." he said with a chuckle.
"no actually i never really drive like that. i bent my head down to change a song on my ipod."
"o i do that all the time."
"im really sorry about your car though." i said quietly.
"ehh.. it's ok i'll just use my old alero. i like it better."

I really didn't know what to say. It was like that conversation a few seconds ago didn't even happen to him, yet I was still in shock.
"Okay." I said, without thinking, and taking a sharp left on the highway out of town.

We walked to the local Starbucks. I tried to keep my distance from him and keep back the urge to grab his hand.

Finally, we reached Starbucks, ordered, and grabbed a table in the back away from the window.

"Not a problem," he smiled. He looked down, blushing, then back up at me.

i had a strong feeling i knew what was about to happen.

Zac hung up the phone without saying another word, then he turned to me.
"Seems like she had been feeling the same way for a while.", He said.

I smiled, I had no words.
"You just-"
He nodded. "Broke up with my girlfried?"
"for me?" I asked, shaking my head. "The girl you just met?"
"The beautiful girl I just met. And am about to get to know even better. Come with me." He smiled, taking my hand.

We both entered the building in peace,

The masseuse came out and instructed us to lay down on the therapeutic beds, and they would massage us using the mud. Didn't sound too attractive to me, but damn, it felt good.

Next, after almost falling asleep in the chair,
they brought us to a big hot tub like bath,
except the water was tinted and smelled amazing.
They instructed us to take off our clothes, and asked if it would be a problem.
"Not at all." Zac replied.
He stripped off, and I looked away, doing the same.
I didn't see him until we were both soaking in the water.
I expected him to come on to me,
but it tured out he was more of a gentleman than I thought.

And as much of a lady as I should've been, I peeked at his manhood. Satisfied? Yes. Probably because I was still a virgin at twentyfour.

I blushed a little, wondering if Zac had noticed what I had done.
He appeared clueless, or maybe unaffected.

I sunk in the water just so my head was leaning on the tub. I closed my eyes, and drifted into a sleep.

We were going cyber speed. But I decided I needed a little excitement in my life lately.

"I've never tried sushi!" I said, shrugging.
Zav raised both eyebrows. "What? Well instead of getting gross hotel sushi, I'm going to have to take you to my favorite sushi resturant. Tomorrow night?"

"Tomorrow's actually the day before the birthday. I was going to try to spend it with my family, and then relax on my birthday.", I said.

I was all alone in a hotel room. What was I to do? Watch Titanic by myself? No, that was too pathetic. I was still hungry. I decided to leave the hotel, and eat at the nearest diner.

I found a nice little place called Paty's. I sat down in a booth by myself when I spotted Zac leaving with another woman.

but knees weakend. I was so confused, so angry.

she nodded and walked away. i tried to stand up again but fell down on my seat.
damn! i really wanted to talk to him. i felt horrible. and the worse part was, i couldnt stay away from him.

I felt so depressed. He was walking by the window where i was sat. I tried avoiding him looking my way.

"Well, to tell you the truth, she's gone now."
I nodded, trying to dry my cheeks, embarassed for crying.
"If your not sick of me yet, we can hang out some more!"
I laughed. "Well we just keep bumping into eachother all over the place."
He grinned.
"I'd go home, but I'd be afraid you'd show up somewhere in my house." I laughed.
"If thats your way of saying yes?"

"Well, I can take you to that sushi place I was talking about, then I'll drive you home." Zac smiled, putting his arm around my shoulder.
We were greeted by a small amount of paparazzi.
Zac flashed a peace sign, and I smiled at the fact that he no longer cared about being seen with me.

We got in my car and made our way to the sushi place.

We got outside and it seems that the paparazzi doubled.
I couldn't believe it, I felt like I was going blind. We both
dodged as we entered.
"Right this way," the waiter said. We got into a booth and
I felt so cozy, like this was a 'date.'

I tried to hold in the excitement of even the thought of dating this gorgeus guy sitting in front of me

"Well, this place is great." I stalled.
He chuckled, probably knowing I was
telling the biggest lie of my life. He looked
at me once, and then looked at his shoes.
"Now realy tell me what's going on," he spoke.

"Well, I am just in awe because I never imagined myself here. I didn't even know who you were until a couple days ago.", I admitted.
"Really?", He said.
"Yeah.", I hesitated to answer, and turned bright red.

with herself and knows who I am now," he laughed.
I blushed even more, taking the intact thing as a compliment.
"Thank you. It's glad to see such a down to earth superstar." I commented back.
Now we were both blushing in embarassment.

The awkward moment was broken by a Japanese man who greeted us, and took our order. I quickly looked at the menu, and ordered something I didn't even know what it was. When the waiter left, Zac turned to me and said, "You like octopus testes?"

I bit my lip."I - uh.."
Zac laughed. "Thats funny. You told me you never had sushi before."
I flushed again.
Zac smiled at my embarassment. "Well I guess you can share with me then."

I laughed. "Thank you."
"Oh no problem." He said.
We sat there in silence, just looking around, and
once in awhile glancing at each other.
"Nice place," he added.
"Yeah..very...Japanese?" I joked.

My phone began to ring, Yes, I thought. It was Emma.
"Hey Serena. I need a babysitter right now. Robert just passed out while he was cooking dinner.", She said.
"Uh, is it okay if I bring Zac?", I said as he gave me a questioning look.
"Efron? Are you serio- I mean, that'd be great. Yes, bring him over.", She said with a surprised tone.
"Kay, see you in ten.", I said, and hung up.

"So, you feel like babysitting tonight?", I said biting my lip and looking at Zac.
"Am I getting paid?", He joked getting up from his seat.
He canceled our order, and we left the restaurant hand in hand.
Our only source of light- the paparazzi.

We got to my sister's house in a little bit over 10 minutes, and as soon as we got in, they got out. The kids stared at Zac, as the oldest girl went up and hugged his legs.

"Ohhh, okay. Hello there!" Zac smiled, amused.
The little girls eyes lit up. "Look, Jenny! It's Troy!"
Jenny entered. "Wow, auntie Serena, you know Troy?!" She exclaimed.
This was going to be an exciting night, I sighed.

I looked at Zac. I mouthed to him 'im sorry'.

"Everybody loves you in this house," I joked.
"Nah, I'm not that amazing." he said, knowing he was completely wrong.
He was amazing, he was perfect, and I wanted everybody to leave us alone
and let us babysit the whole night, so I could be with him.

It felt like I had known him for so long, but I had only met him a day ago!
I suddenly culdn't wait for my birthdday.
"let's watch a movie, we should watch high school musical!" Jenny screamed.

I shrugged.
"Well, i guess so." He laughed, hiding his embarassment.
"YAY!" The kids squeeled as we made our way to the living room.

"Brace yourself" I whispered in his ear
"What?" He looked at me confused
"3,2,1..." I counted while looking into his eyes; his eyebrows scrunched together in confusion. On cue the girls got up and looked at each other, with one pretending to be Troy and the other Gabriella.
"Livin' in my own world, didn't understand, that anything can happen, when you take a chance."
"I never believed in, what I couldn't see, I never opened my heart to all the possibilities."
Zac looked at me, eyes wide in shock. "How old are these kids? They know the moves and everything."
"Just wait until Getcha' Head In the Game, they'll go get their pillow basketballs and dance through the whole thing." I laughed

"Oh great. Well at least i can't see myself on the tv with them standing in front of it" he laughed.

I giggled. "So modest.."

He smiled. After another 10 minutes they got tired and sat down with us on the couch.

"It looks like the energizer bunnies finally ran out of batteries." He whispered

Zac smiled. "It's late, I should get going." he said, as the credits of the movie rolled and all the kids were asleep on his shoulders, legs and lap. "It's pretty late" He grinned awkwardly as he tried to get off the couch without waking anyone up.
I smiled. "Bye, I guess I'll see you tomorrow?"
"Your birthday?" He replied. "Wouldn't miss it for the world."

He gave me a smile that was worth more than a thousand words, before heading out the door and closing it quietly as to not wake up anyone.

I met Emma at the door, and told her about everything.

She smiled, and settled on the couch as I told her the events of the evening.

We then took the kids to their bedrooms and tucked them in.

"Well, I better get going." I said

"Sorry." He sounded like a little boy who just got caught doing something he shouldn't have

"What's your address?", he asked.
"Er why?", i asked scratching my head.
"I need to deliver you something.", he answered.
"Oh it's 124 Seashell Ln.", i told him.

"You'll see in a couple minutes."

He hung up.
I lid confused in my bed, before realizing I should change into nicer pyjamas.

I quickly changed, and sat on my bed, waiting.
Just waiting for the doorbell to ring. Finally, it
rang, and I sprang out of bed, and raced to the
door. A delivery man made me sign some papers,
and then rolled in a cake larger than me. I was in
total shock, especially when Zac popped out shirtless.

"SUPRISE!", he screamed, and pulled me in for a kiss.

"Wow..." I whispered, referring to both the kiss and the suprise

"You like it?" He asked after seeing me stare at his abs.

I burst out laughing. "are you drunk?"
He stumbled out of the cake. "No." He grinned.

"Well you see I did..." he scratched the back of his neck, "but it now its got cake all over it."

He giggled. "I just bought a flask, in case you wanted a little birthday..." He grinned. "celebration."

I smiled. "Well do you want to come in?" i smiled.

We walked in. "So what do you wanna do?" i asked.

and returned with a handful of alcohol.
"Would you rather chill here, or throw a party, or go out?"
He looked at me sexily, biting his bottom lip.
I shrugged.
"It's your birthday" He insisted, "Your call."

I knew what he wanted to do by the look on his face

I smiled "We could chill out here for a while since my party is later on!"

I walked into the kitchen to get something to drink. "Do you want something to drink?"

"I think I've brought plenty to drink.", he laughed taking a swig out of his flask.
I smiled as he passed it to me, and I took a big gulp. I started to cough.
"Sorry, it's a little strong.", Zac said.
"No. It's fine.", I said. "I just need to sit."
Zac sat down on the love seat in my living room, and patted his lap, "Have a seat."
I smiled as I straddled him, kissing his neck, and slowly rubbing his bulge through his pants.

"What," his voice went high, but then he tried to suppress a deeper tone, "what are you doing?"

I took my hand off his pants, and frustrated, I got off his lap.
"I'm sorry. Is this taking it too far too soon?"
"Oh no. I was just a little surprised.", He smiled, "Continue?"
"Later. For now, let's watch a movie.", I said.
He agreed, and I ordered The Heartbreak Kid on demand.
I laid down on the couch, and Zac joined me.

It was almost impossible to just sit still, with him lying next to me.
I wasn't concentrating on the movie, instead on the fact that are arms were touching.
It was overpowering.
I got up. "Be right back."
Zac nodded and continued to watch the movie.
I quickly threw my hair into a sexy bun and slipped into my little black dress and heels. I emerged from the bathroom.
"Who really wants to spend their birthday watching movies, anyway?" I smiled.
Zac nodded. "Now thats more like it."

I dimmed the lights, and headed his way.
I straddled on top of him, and wrapped my arms around his neck as I leaned in for a powerful kiss.

I stopped only to let him talk.
Instead, he laughed. "I feel bad, I just met you!"
I giggled. "Shut up, Can't you see I'm trying to take advantage of you?"

then quickly mixed us two strong drinks, which we chugged,
before continuing.

I wrapped my arms back around his neck and i layed back on the sofa. At that moment my phone went off.

"ugh." I rolled my eyes. I picked it up.
"Hey hun! I saw you on TMZ today with Zac Efron!"
I laughed. "Don't call back here!" and hung up, flicking my phone off.
On the way back to the sofa, I picked up the booze and poured up some shots.
I took five, and Zac took six.
"WE'll start feeling those in a minute." Zac giggled, then guided me back over.

We sat down on the sofa. I leaned in to kiss him and felt our lips touch. I had a fuzzy feeling inside me.

I could taste the tequila in his mouth as we kissed.
It gave me even more of a buzz than I already had.
I grabbed his hair agressively and more passionatly made out with him.

He moved his hands down my back.

I felt a breeze across my back as he lifted my shirt off.

"I'm a vir-", I almost finished my sentence before the taste of tequila came rushing out of my mouth.

Oh no great! I got up and went to the bathroom and locked myself in.

I started crying, and hyperventilating.

I heard knocking at the door

"Are you - are you okay?" Zac asked, not knowing what to do.
I quickly composed myself. "Yeah, I - I just don't usually mix tequila with -"
"Did you say you were a virgin?" He interuppted

"Em.... Yea" I said looking down at the ground

I heard Zac go silent.

I held my breath, not knowing what he was going to say

"I suppose you want to wait for 'the one' ?" He asked, sounding disappointed.
I started to speak but he interuppted. "But I'm not gonna leave because of that, I actually really enjoy hanging out with you, It's okay that you dn't want to have se-"
"I do!" I shouted, opening the door. "I'm not saving myself for anything, it just... hasn't happened. I do want to have sex with you." I smiled. I was still a little tipsy.

He looked at me "You ok?"

[emily.]

"Yeah." I smiled. "And I'm ready."
"Good to know." Zac grinned, rubbing his chest. "Because I was gettin' kind of lonely out here."

I laughed.

I started to follow Zac to the couch, but ended up tripping and smashing my mouth in the linoleum floor. I felt the taste of rust and salt rush out of the mouth as red clouded my eyes, and teeth clattered onto the floor. Tears rushed down my face, and I lay motionless on the floor.

I woke up to the sound of sirens, and a group of people lifting me onto a gurney. The blood had stopped, but the pain hadn't.

They took me outside.

The street lights signed in my eyes, but I noticed Zac was by my side. I heard him say;
"No, I'll stay with her."

I was about to ask what had happened, but the pain was too excruciating.

[emily.]

I woke up, once more, in the hospital. Zac was sitting in the chair next to me.
"Finally! Your awake!"
I smiled. I was feeling somewhat better but so confused. "What happened..?"
"You got drunk and tripped, and wow- they did a good job!" He shook his head. "You had to get stitches, and your teeth fixed. The alcohol was what made you pass out, not the fall, don't worry."
