High School Musical 3 heartthrob Zac Efron’s next project may be the remake of 1984 film Footloose, which will be directed by Kenny Ortega. The actor is said to be looking for a mid-seven-figure salary and script approval before signing a contract with the filmmakers. There’s a lot of wrong ways to do this movie, the Daily Telegraph quoted Efron as telling Variety magazine.
“It’s a matter of finding the right balance. Until we find it, I can’t fully,” he paused trying to find a word. “I can’t finish that sentence,” he said abruptly.
As the conversation moved on to the next topic, he finally finds the word.
“Commit. Until I fully commit,” he stated.
Even though Efron at times may say what he wants, he somehow seems to catch himself and revert back to his script. But Ortega is confident that the actor will do very well with the new role.
“It’s like life imitating the movies suddenly (the cast) has come of age as young people. The light of the future is shining brightly into their eyes, begging them to make decisions that will impact on the rest of their lives,” Ortega said. “I see the characters and the actors as having arrived in the same place at the same time.”
“But I have great confidence in them, their families and the teams they have around them, that they’re going to make good choices. They are all wise beyond their years. They have a sense of humour. They’re sensible, humbled by the attention. They’re going to do good,” he added.

If the recession economy prohibits your spending lots of money on that luxury box of chocolates, then get together some less expensive chocolates and pop them in a gift bag. Send online greeting cards to your long-distance friends and acquaintances as Christmas gifts. These are often free and convenient and are also appreciated. wow gold (http://veryge.com/)

i did not realize kenny is the director of "footloose". that is a major buzz-kill for me. kenny is a great choreographer, i wish he were the consultant for those on "footloose" and not the entire movie's director. in hsm 2 and 3 the plots were choppy and poorly developed and highly improbable. parts of hsm3 were simply very bad. kenny did a good job with hanna's 3d feature film, but there was no plot to develop, it was all a documentary format.

with footloose, i am not sure what kenny can do to "improve" or modernize the script beyond new dance moves. besides, i think the concept that a town has a "no dancing" law is virtually impossible to believe, today. it's a whole new world, now. (back then all sorts of things were outlawed.)

i hope zac decides to hold out for a better role and pass on "footloose". i think kenny is not going to give him the good final product that zac would want to be starring in. after "17 again", zac will get some good offers. i saw the preview on a big screen (before paul blart: mall cop) -- zac lights up the screen, you cannot take your eyes off him. he's great as matthew perry. i am sorry for his fellow actors -- no one will notice them! :-)
