Haylzee's Tutorials [upd: 18/11]

Okay so i don't write tutorials all that often but i have been asked to make this one. so feel free to use it and i'd love to see your results. remember tutorials don't always work on all pictures.

all my tutorials are for photoshop.

step one: crop your picture or position your icon to where you want. Then you want to sharpen your base once. [ filter > sharpen > sharpen ]

step two: duplicate your base and blur it. [ filter > blur > Gaussian blur ] and set the radius to 1.5. then set the duplicated base to soft light.

step three: add a new layer and fill with #000033 and set it to exclusion.

step four: next add a selective color layer [ image > adjustments > selective color ] and add these numbers.

Reds: 0 | -30 | 0 | 0
Cyans: 10 | 0 | 0 | 0
Magentas: 0 | -20 | 0 | 0

step five: add some text. (this is optional) I added the text “rob & kristen” in font style times new roman, size 12pt and then some more text “the lion fell in love with the lamb” in font style times new roman, size 2pt.

And you’re finished.
