so i decided to make a coloring tutorial thread
hopefully it's not confusing lol
so here they are:

1. Crop your base to whatever size you want


2. Curves: RGB: 1° point- O: 122 I: 92
2° point- O: 186 I: 138


RED: O: 169 I: 148


GREEN: 1° point- O: 135 I: 131
2° point- O: 165 I: 154
3° point- O: 194 I: 193


BLUE: O: 161 I: 142


set that to softlight 100%


3. Selective Coloring:
Reds: -100, +18,+100,0
Yellows: +100,+25,-100,0
Neutrals: +56,-24,-42,0
Blacks: +100,+100,+100,+100


4. Selective Coloring:
Reds: -63,+14,+34,0
Yellows: +53,-39,+35,+5


5. Go back to base and go to hue/saturation.
change the saturation to +24.
(optional depending on picture)


6. Sharpen Base and your done!
(optional)

1. Selective Coloring:
Reds: -100, +10,+100,0
Yellows: +100,+30,-100,0
Neutrals: +26,+7,-17,-26


2. Selective Coloring:
Reds: -49,+9,+46,0
Yellows: -49,+26,+33,-21
Magentas: +60,-18,+39,+17


3. Curves:
RGB: 1° point- 186,146
2° point- 214,185


Red: 1° point-137,150
2° point-160,182


Green: 1° point- 103,107
2° point-125,119
3° point-148,129
4° point-222,181


Blue: 157,137


change to color 100%


4. Go to base and sharpen


5. Change saturation of base between 15-35
(optional depending on picture)


and your done!

1. Crop and duplicate base once and set
to screen 100%.


2. Channel Mixer:
RED: +100, -33, +16
GREEN: -13, +100, +9
BLUE: -10, +9, +100


3. Hue/Saturation:
Master Saturation: +19


4. Levels:
RGB: 63, 1.00, 255
RED: 36, 1.44, 225
GREEN: 31, 1.42, 255
BLUE: 81, 1.64, 255


5. Go back to base and sharpen.
(It to dark you can duplicate base
again and set to Screen.)

set to color on 100%


2. Selective Coloring:
Red: -34,10,22,0
Yellow: 15,19,12,0
Neutral: 11,-4,-4,0


3. Selective Coloring:
Red: -42,7,30,0
Yellow: -33,20,15,0


4. Photo Filter:
Cooling Filter(82)
Density: 25%

o sorry! here i made an example cause it's kinda hard to explain:

like you click on a different place on the line then it would be a new point
like so now there would be 4 points sorry if it's confusing lol

yea, but whenever i do the curves for green for the first tut, and i put in 154 for the input, it says it cant do it, and it always goes back to 127 :/

and _niina i had the same problem but then i realized that the squares should be over the middle point and NOT under it. like this:

Save the file with all the layers as a psd then upload it onto box.net is the best place.
