Someone had requested that I should whip up some tutorials
and start a tutorial thread so I took that advice continue to add them. Remember, these are just ideas and if your image doesnt turn out how you like it, simply change a few steps.
The program that I use is GIMP and it's not as advanced as Photoshop
or PSP but I have figured out the best way to use it and i think I do a
pretty darn good job on it. So feel free to use them! Oh, and don't
forget to post the results of what you end up with on here!

1. Take you image and crop and resize it to your desired size. Sharpen if you desire.
2. Duplicate your base and set to screen at 50%
3. On your base layer, go to Hue/Saturation and pump up the master saturation to 50.
4. Channel. mixer
Red; 130, 40, 0
Green; 0, 120, -10
Blue; 10, 0, 110
5. New fill layer, fill with 000022. Set to screen.
6. Duplicate the fill layer 3 times. Set the top one to subtract.
7. New fill layer, fill with FFDACF. Set to burn at 80%
Merge/Flatten layers and you're done!

1. Take your picture and crop, resize, and sharpen to your liking.
2. Duplicate your base and set it to screen at 50%
3. On your base, open up the Hue/Saturation and pump the master saturation to 60.
4. On the screened layer set the saturation to 40
5. Channel Mixer
Red; 130, -40, 0
Green; 0, 110, 10
Blue; 0, -10, 120
6. Do a color balance; (midtones) 25, 0, 50
7. Merge/Flatten layers
8. Duplicate your base and pixelize it (Filters>Blur>Pixelize [2 pixels])
9. With your eraser tool, erase the pixelization where the person is, but leave a little around the edges.
10. Add text(I used BM receipt), merge/flatten layers.
And you're done!

for mine it was green so I increased the green sat.
it depends on the picture. but still do the red and the master.)
Green- Saturation: 100
Red- Saturation: 20
Master- Saturation 50
4. New fill layer. Fill with OFOF31. Set it to extract (for GIMP it's screen, screen, subtract)
5. New fill layer. Fill with D0FFC5. Set it to darken at 60%
6. Merge/Flatten your layers.
And you're done!

7. New fill layer, fill with FDFBBB set to divide at 50%
8. New fill layer, fill with 00003C set to screen at 50%
9. Merge/Flatten layers.

7. Repeat the same values on the channel mixer.
8. Brightness/Contrast
Brightness; -20
Contrast; 10
9. Sharpen at 30 power.
10. Merge/Flatten layers and you're done!

3. Duplicate the screened layer and set it to overlay 40%
4. New layer, fill with fff9dd. Set it to divide 100%
5. Duplicate the yellow layer. This is optional. If you want a bluer and brighter picture then do it.
6. New layer, fill with cdeaff. Set it to darken only 100%
7. New layer, fill with 000000 (black).
8. Take a round feathered brush, make it somewhat large-ish and set the brush opacity on 50%. Erase the black to the desired lightness/darkness.
9. Text is optional. Set it to 90% opacity if you decide to use it.
Merge/Flatten and you're done!

8. New layer, fill with d7d6d5. Set to darken only at 30%
