I love this signature alot, [ jess made this] but, i was wondering how you get the colored top? Like is it a texture?

im pretty sure its a texture and i thought i could help but i looked through my textures on which i thought it might be and tried them out and couldnt get that look, so i dont know, sorry :(

Take certain colors of pink/purple and stroke them on a blank canvas. Maybe sharpen and add a grungy scratch texture then set to lighten. That's what I'd do.
