HSM3 colouring tutorial.

some people asked me to make a tut for my hsm3 icons,
and since i'm nice [aha.], i will grant your wish. :]

1.
open your base, crop and resize. sharpen if necessary.


2.
duplicate your base and set it to soft light, 100%.


3.
layer > new fill layer > solid color [A4B2E9].
set it to multiply, 60% [or 70%].


4.
layer > new adjustment layer > brightness/contrast.
brightness: +19
contrast: +19


5.
layer > new adjustment layer > selective color.


red: -39, +5, +39, 0
yellows: +100, +100, -100, 0.
blues: +79, +100, +16
magentas: -18, -33, -8, +24
neutrals: +30, -29, -15, -8


6.
layer > new adjustment layer > hue/saturation.
master: 0, +13, 0


7.
duplicate your base, drag it to the top and set it to screen, 50% [or higher].
done. :]

this colouring also works for other pictures,
but you might have to mess around with the opacities to get a better result.
