its been put to their attention now,
so i think they should just credit the band and compensate like work something out between disney and the band, instead of putting up a front like theyve done nothing wrong.

i mean what are the chances that the person who did the score for 'Rockstar' just happened to do that tune.

lot of hannah montanta's songs rip off other artists' works.
like, one in a million is way too much similar to blue moon by anna tsuchiya.
anyway, it's true disney made those songs, but still, just because the audience of hannah montana is not supposed to know about the people from who they copied the songs, it's not a valid reason.

btw, some yrs ago an italian singer, Nek, made a song called 'almeno sta volta', it was catchy and stuff. only problem: it was the copy of still waiting by sum41. he and his team probably thought sum41 aren't known in italy.
and of course italians know sum41, and understood the thing as soon as Nek's song came out.
