Oh man, I am definitely a big Degrassi fan. I wouldn't call myself the biggest one out there, but I own all the seasons that are out so far and I plan on getting the 6th one when it comes out at the end of the month. I know some people say it's ridiculous because it's so unrealistic but the thing about the show is that it is. It is a little out there considering all the stuff that can possibly happen at a high school does happen to/at Degrassi, there are a fair amount of schools out there that do have a lot of these happen within 4 years. So each episode on it's own is very realistic and that's why it's so entertaining to me. They don't need a whole lot of fiction to get the characters and story going.



Yeah and so was now Holly J she was the star of Naturally Sadie.

That's why she looks so familiar! Every time I watch the show, I keep thinking she looks so familiar and as time goes on, I just think it's because I recognize her from earlier episodes of Degrassi. But yes! Thank you, that was driving me nuts.

Oh man, I have seen the episode where JT dies about 5 times and I cry each and every single time. Heck, the last time it was on tv, I was in the other room hanging up my laundry. I could still hear it though and it made me cry. The way Manny reacts especially just gets to me. But I agree, it's not the fact that it's JT really because I never was that big of a fan of his character, but the fact that he's been on there since the beginning and how the other characters have to deal with it. No one is safe.

Yeah, I liked Sean the best out of all the guys she's been with. I thought it didn't really end though. He went off to join the army or something, didn't he? And then (somewhat spoiler for 7th season) she started going out with that Damian kid. And Emma broke it off with Peter because she found out he planted the drugs in Sean's locker when he kid her mask for the masquerade party in her locker.

I really loved Peter when season 5 started out. Even though he was a total skuzz ball, he has a charming way about him that draws me in. The charm kind of left during season 6 though. Not sure why, his bad boy rep started to fade perhaps?

No, I totally know what you mean. They had him on the show for just the right amount of time.But after that legendary episode, the few episodes after that were very anti-climactic for me. Like the one right after where Sean goes back to his parents. That is one of my least favorite episodes.

My favorite seasons would probably have to be the earlier ones, like 2 and 3. I really like the beginning of 4 as well, at least up to "Time Stands Still."

But I find a lot of the characters that are irritating now to be more entertaining in the earlier seasons, especially Paige. I can hardly stand her now but I loved her in season 1.

Yeah, I find Paige's constant "huns" with everyone to be very annoying after season 2. There is one time though where my brother and I loved it and we sat the quote to eachother every now and then and it's hilarious. I think she's talking to someone in the hallway and goes, "Hun... you wish." And we always lengthen the pause there to make it obnoxious. lol Can anyone remember what episode this is from? I'm sure I could find it on imdb or something if i wasn't so lazy to search for it. :p
