This movie is one of the most beautiful movies ever made i cried through out the last half an hour of it coz it was so sad and emotional! It was of course directed by the wonderful Adam Shankman and he absolouty created a masterpiece! Mandy Moore and Shane West were excellent and Mandy Moore really put her beautfiful voice to good work with songs like 'Cry' and 'It's Gonna Be Love'! This film deserves an official thread even if no one comes on here it is that amazing!

great great movie, mandy & shane did an awesome job!!! I LOVE when she is singing in the school play, the "i pray" I think is what it has in it.........that song is SO pretty

i looooove it!! i watched it for the first time on March, i didn't know this movie before, and my god-mother who loves it and have it show me and now i love it!!!this is one of my fave movies ever! it's amazing, so beautiful and so sad!!
i watched it this afternoon and i cried again!
mandy and shane are beautiful in this movie, i love all the songs, mandy has an amazing voice!:)

This is my all-time favorite movie! Thanks for making a thread for it! I've read the book about 5 times and have seen the movie about a gazillion! :lol: Mandy Moore is not my fave actress, but I absolutely adore her in this movie and Shane West is so sweet! Landon Carter is like my dream guy! :lol: Well, a mix between him and Noah Calhoun! Aww! Nicholas Sparks creates the best characters! :p

OMG! ITA! I was talking to my friend the other day about how much I love Adam Shankman and love when he judges on So You Think You Can Dance and I told her he was great and directed one of my favorite movies, and she goes, "Oh, yeah! Hairspray!" And then I said, "Well, yeah, but that's not the one I was talking about!" :p He also directed The Wedding Planner, The Pacifier, and Cheaper By The Dozen 2 which are all really good movies! Ah! I love Adam and if he hadn't directed AWTR, I don't think it would have been as good. He put so much into to make it true to the story that Nicholas Sparks was wanting to tell!

^haha I actually like her singing better, but AWTR I really love her in. It's probably the only one of her movies I like. Anyway, I really need to watch this sometime soon because I have just been craving it! For some reason, I just keep playing over and over in my head where Landon confronts Jamie and she says, "And why would that scare me?" and he says, "Because you wanna be with me too!" Gah!
