The hotly anticipated Disney Channel sequel to High School Musical will premiere this September on The Disney Channel. The cast are currently the most written about actors in America and will be coming to London for the European premiere which will take place at The O2 on September 2nd. The cast (including Zac Efron who is the male lead in the current UK box office smash Hairspray) will be in London from 27th August and available for interviews. The first film was a global phenomena and the soundtrack alone sold over 1 million copies in the UK. The road to High School Musical 2 starts this month and incorporates ‘ Singalong High School Musical’ screenings from The Big Chill to Butlins. The High School Music tour will hit the road in July and visit six UK cities searching for Britain’s very own High School Musical kids. In the magazine that came with today's Sunday Mirror it said that even celebs are begging for tickets to go so it looks like its not available to the public. Davina Mccall, Jason Donovan and Gary Barlow all want tickets for their kids and Gordon Ramsay has some but wants extra! :D

It also says that the film stars Zac & Vanessa and we have to remember their names because they could be the next A-listers ;)

Ok well if they're flying from LA they'll come in at Heathrow, probably terminal 4 thats where we flew in to from LA. Ok if they are available for interviews from the 27th more than likely they'll be in London from the 26th. We just need flight arrival times for that day and then hang around. Chances are they'll fly British Airways.
Ok hotels, well Dorchester is always a good bet for celebs and Royal Gardens in Kensington too. If you remember last time they stayed in a hotel where they had a view of the London Eye. So maybe by the Thames.

thats just bloody typical !!! we never go abroad in the summer usually and the one year we do - we fly out to majorca on the day they arrive in England ! also means im gonna miss all the interviews too !!

I rang up the O2 last week and the woman [possibly the most stupid person on earth] was like, Do stars go to premieres? I know know who's coming.
I only asked her where abouts to stand to watch the stars arrive.
Then my mate emailed, and they replied saying that the premiere hadn't been confirmed, even though its been advertised on the Disney Channel.
My mate had the same problem with the Just my luck premiere, the Cinema said it hadnt been comfirmed, but Mcfly had already announced it.

They either dont want a lot of people there, or they are rather stupid, or both ;)

oh and btw, Stand inside not outside, apparently its better! :)

i contacted a few stores in London to enquirer about any press events. Hamley's replied and there isn't any there:

K public relations for Disney Store called my aunt and said that nothing at all has been confirmed they've thrown the idea around and something is in the pipeline but nothing confirmed. They don't want to announce anything incase the cast's agents say no to them appearing. But if it was to happen it will be next week so we got to keep an eye out!!!
