You may have heard from squealing teens in the vicinity that Zac Efron, the star of “High School Musical,” will present his new movie “Charlie St. Cloud” in St. Louis next Wednesday. And now you’ve got a chance to see the film and maybe meet the heartthrob in person.
The guest of honor for Efron’s visit is Emily Johnson, a senior at St. Joseph’s Academy. Emily won a nationwide contest to host a hometown preview of the inspirational drama. Emily will pose on the red carpet with Efron, and more than 100 of her friends will get to see the movie, which opens nationwide on July 30.
But the Post-Dispatch is also giving away ten pairs of tickets to the same screening, and you don’t have to be a big shot. Just submit your name and email address in the comments section of this blog post. Girls, boys, young, old–everyone is welcome to enter. We will randomly select ten entrants to receive two tickets apiece for the special screening, which starts at 7:30 p.m. at Ronnie’s Cine on South Lindbergh at Baptist Church Road.
