With more than 26,000 hits a day and visitors from 185 countries, Charismatic (aka zefron.com) is the web’s original and #1 fan site for Zac Efron. The site today is known for reporting the most reputable, up to date news about the actor, while archiving the web’s largest Zac Efron image gallery. It is also home to the most active Zac Efron forum on the net.

Although overwhelmingly popular today, zefron.com’s history has humble beginnings. The site was founded on June 15th, 2004 by then 18 year old, Indiana native, Kathryn Vincent. Upon its creation, the site existed as a simple fan listing dedicated to Zac. During this time, he was featured in a recurring role as Cameron on the WB television show, Summerland. It wasn’t until January 2006 however, when Zac appeared as Troy Bolton in Disney’s runaway hit High School Musical, that the actor began to receive more recognition. As Zac’s fame continued to grow exponentially, so did zefron.com.

What distinguishes zefron from other fansites is that Kathryn maintains a special relationship with Zac himself. When the site launched, Zac’s family directly contacted Kathryn, acknowledging her as one of Zac’s first fans during his early career. Since then, Kathryn has been in touch with Zac on a regular basis, confirming the latest news surrounding his career and any of his upcoming projects. In a recent article published by M Magazine, Zac publicly thanked Kathryn for all the work she has done on the site. In January 2008, Zac and Kathryn finally had the chance to meet for the first time in Los Angeles on the set of Zac’s film 17 Again and were able to meet up again in Chicago in July 2010 while Zac promoted his upcoming movie Charlie St. Cloud.
