A local organization is helping clothe families in need this holiday, and thanks to a celebrity with local roots, some will be sporting his look.
Arroyo Grande-native Zac Efron recently paid a visit to the Children’s Rescue Network of the Central Coast which is located in Arroyo Grande. Lisa Ray, the organization’s president, says the movie star donated three hundred articles of clothing.
Ray says local children who are in need of clothes will get the opportunity to choose one item from the star’s wardrobe. “He loves the program,” said Ray. “That’s why he came and donated his clothes. He really wanted to give back to the community and do something for the kids in need here.”
